Based on this comparison, it is reasonable to think that Chinese KN95, European FFP2 FFR are the same as American NIOSH N95 respirators, and can be used to filter non-oil-based particles, such as particles produced by wildfire, PM 2.5 air pollution, volcanic eruption or bioaerosols (such virus).
